We are now looking for a nurse for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Skellefteå with an interest in child and adolescent psychiatry. This position is a temporary contract for at least 6 months, possibly longer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your work, you will meet children and adolescents up to 18 years old who require specialized child psychiatric treatment. As a nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and dedication that makes people feel safe. Your responsibilities include monitoring medications such as CS and SSRI and other pharmacological treatments. Tasks related to assessment and treatment may also be relevant depending on your previous experience and education. Care is provided in close collaboration with other professions, with the patient and their family at the center.

Your introduction will be tailored to your previous knowledge and experience. We offer supervision and professional development based on the needs of the organization. Travel to Umeå and Lycksele may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse who has the ability to see the whole picture and the willingness to work in a workplace where the patient always comes first. You contribute to a holistic view that makes the care process better and safer for our patients. It is advantageous if you have further education in psychiatry, and we would prefer you to have experience working with children or adolescents.

We believe you are a present and warm person who, with expert knowledge and care, sees both the individual and their relatives. Your holistic focus helps you map and influence the factors affecting the patient's health and well-being. You are responsible and adaptable to change and value cross-professional work, collaboration, engagement, and collegial support. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
